Your data
Delete your Swervo data
The short version
- Swervo has no accounts. There is no sign-in, so there is no account to delete.
- Most data is only on your phone. You delete it yourself, in the app or by uninstalling. Nothing needs to be requested from us.
- The Google Play edition sends us nothing, so we hold nothing of yours to delete.
- Direct-download edition only: if you turned on “Share shift data”, you can delete what was uploaded from inside the app, or by writing to us.
Ask us to delete shared shift data
This applies only if you use the direct-download edition and chose to share shift data.
- 1. In Swervo, open Settings → Device & Reliability.
- 2. Tap Delete my uploaded shift data. The app deletes the rows this phone sent and shows what was deleted.
- 3. If that isn't available, or you no longer have the app, email support@swervo.app with the subject “Delete my Swervo data”. Include the install identifier shown above that button if you can. You don't need to give a reason.
What is deleted: the shift data, delivery outcomes and diagnostic events uploaded from your phone, described in section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
What is kept: nothing from those uploads. Uploaded rows that are never deleted by request are removed automatically once they are 12 months old.
Delete data on your phone
These steps are taken from section 8 of the Privacy Policy. Some apply only to the direct-download edition or to a PC you paired yourself.
- 1. Stop collection. Home → Autopilot → Observe (no taps). Android Settings → Accessibility → Swervo → Off stops all screen reading. Notification access → Off. Location → Deny.
- 2. Delete the current shift. Home → menu → Reset session. This archives the shift, then clears it.
- 3. Delete drop-off recordings. Settings → Device & Reliability → Delete drop-off recordings → Delete.
- 4. Delete archived sessions. Settings → Device & Reliability → Delete archived sessions → Delete. Copies you exported elsewhere are not affected.
- 4a. Delete offer maps and Decision Records / stop keeping offer positions. Settings → Device & Reliability → Delete offer maps and decision records removes every saved position and every Decision Record on the phone; Settings → Keep offer positions for Test Shift maps → Off stops positions being kept in either.
- 5. Delete everything on the phone. Android Settings → Apps → Swervo → Clear data, or uninstall.
- 6. Delete PC data. Delete
data/delivery.db(which holds the PC's Decision Records), theuploads/folder and the offer archive on your PC. - 7. Revoke self-repair. Settings → Recovery → Off, or run
adb shell pm revoke <package> android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS. - 8. Unpair the PC. Settings → Server → Unpair, or revoke the device on the PC's security page.
- 9. Stop sharing or delete shift data (sideload). Settings → Device & Reliability → Share shift data to improve Swervo → Off stops future uploads. Delete my uploaded shift data on the same screen deletes every row this phone sent (offers, uploads and diagnostic events) from our spreadsheet and shows what was deleted. If it says deletion isn't available yet, email support@swervo.app with the install identifier shown above that button.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling Swervo deletes everything the app stored on the phone. If you paired your own PC, the data on that PC is yours to delete there.
